Freelance planting support

I provide flexible horticultural and planting support for landscape contractors, builders, developers and design professionals.

I can become involved at any stage of a project — from an initial site assessment through to setting out and establishment — or take responsibility for the planting element from start to finish.

ASSESS → PLAN → SOURCE → IMPLEMENT

ASSESS
Working from your brief, drawings and/or a site visit, I'll assess the conditions that will influence the planting — including soil, aspect, exposure, existing vegetation and the surrounding landscape.

PLAN
I can develop the planting scheme, select appropriate plants and produce the schedules, quantities and information needed to take the scheme forward.

SOURCE
I can liaise with nurseries and suppliers, check availability and suggest appropriate substitutions where required.

IMPLEMENT
Where useful, I can attend site for setting out, practical planting support and establishment advice to help ensure the scheme is translated successfully from plan to ground.

 

Already have a planting plan?

No problem. I am equally happy working from existing drawings, specifications or planting plans. If you simply need additional horticultural capacity for sourcing, substitutions, setting out, implementation or another part of the project, I can step in at that stage.
