About The Little Gardening Co

The Little Gardening Co is an independent horticultural business based near Penkridge, Staffordshire.

I have worked professionally in horticulture and landscaping for more than 25 years, combining practical experience with a degree in Horticultural Science, RHS qualifications and experience of delivering planting projects alongside landscape contractors and other professionals.

Over those years I have worked with plants in the real world — dealing with different soils, sites, growing conditions, budgets, suppliers and the practicalities of establishing planting successfully.

I now specialise in freelance horticultural and planting support, providing additional expertise and capacity to landscape contractors, builders, developers and design professionals.

I am equally comfortable developing a planting scheme from a brief or working from plans and specifications already produced by another professional. Support can be provided remotely where appropriate, with site visits for assessment, setting out and implementation where required.

My focus is straightforward: appropriate plants, thoughtfully selected, properly specified and successfully established.
